My wife and son and I lived in Watertown in the late ninties and were congregants at St. Patrick's. When Johnny would get fidgetty during Mass, we would let him climb the stairs to the choir loft and watch "Mithta White" at work. Paul was always gracious and kind toward the Johnny. When Mass was over, he would sometimes give the lad an impromptu music lesson and let him fiddle around with the keyboard. We have cherished the memories of those Sunday mornings ever since and we always will. RIP, oh good and faithful servant.

Dear Josephine, Maria and family,
My sincerest sympathies to you and your family over the sudden passing of Paul. What a shocking tragedy and loss to you and to St. Patrick's.
He was a gifted and talented musician, singer and composer whose gifts enhanced the liturgies at St. Pat's for many years. It's truly the end of an era.
I had to move away at the end of June, but my heart will always hear the beautiful hymns and singing from my 30 years at St. Pats.

I remember Paul and Jo from Medford High School and the Concert Choir. Paul always made an impression on me with his musical talent an love of music. He made so many lives richer for sharing his talent . God Bless. He is safe and in the arms of the Lord.

Paul was a gifted musician and more importantly a generous man with his time and talents. When my brother, Fr. Steve, was pastor, I had the opportunity on a few occasions to sing with Paul accompanying me. It was always a pleasure! He always had a smile on his face. My condolences to the his family and the community of St. Patrick's. Thank you Paul for your many years of service to the music ministry of the church. Your absence is a great loss!

Paul is now the Heavenly choir director in Heaven. His first song will be, "Here I am Lord." Paul is not dead, he rests in the arms of Jesus. They say God only takes the best, and Paul was a man of faith and love for His Lord. Paul was a man that loved his wife and children, and Paul is a man that we all loved. The song Be not afraid, reminds us of what we all have to look forward to when our time comes. Sleep well tonight Josephine, Paul is just a dream away, and sleep well tonight, his love will always remain within your heart and soul.

Paul played at my wedding and at other ceremonies as well. It was always a pleasure to hear him play the organ and hear him sing. Now he will be doing that in heaven with all our loved ones. God bless his family in this time of sorrow. Rest In Peace Paul. Sing and play for the Angels.

We were very saddened to hear of Paul's passing. We send lots of hugs and comfort your way. I will never forget his amazing God given musical gifts. Paul use to accompany our small choral group called "Smile" in high school. His playing inspired me so much that I honestly thought I was given the privilege to sing with one of God's angels. Though we were only able to meet once during the years since high school, his friendship and the love of music we share together never ceased in my heart. I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was a mainstay of St. Patrick's. I worked with him when I taught at St. Pat's in 85-89, and he was the organist/singer at my wedding. I moved from Watertown in 1989, but whenever I have returned to that church for whatever reason, he was always up in the choir loft. Hearing his voice always made me smile and brought back many fond memories.
