Dear Mitch,
I haven't seen you since you were 15 years or so old. I can't begin to tell you how sad that makes me, knowing what has now become. I try to find the light in every tragedy, and understand how it can make me a better person, as to not let anything that happens to someone be in vain. In yours, I find the determination to not let time pass without communication. Although we haven't been close since we were children, I always applauded your life from afar, while keeping up with all the amazing things you were doing on Facebook. I was always there with you, cheering you on from afar while you found love, had a son, traveled for work, and lived a pretty good life. Please know that I will always remember the memories I have of you, me, Marcus and Matt when we were kids. Please say hi to Grandpa for me, let him know that I miss him terribly. I know he will be glad to see you. He loved you so very much.
