William B. “Skip” Traber II, age 75, of Watertown, Ma., passed away on July 16, 2023, at home. He was the loving husband to Joanne (Fitzpatrick). Devoted father to Matthew A. Traber and his wife Janna, of Storrs, CT. Cherished “Poppy” to Juliana and Dominic. Dear brother to Paula and her husband George Fuller, Jeanine Fluet, Lee Traber and the late John Traber. He also leaves much loved cousins, nieces, and nephews and friends.
Skip was an ardent motorcycle enthusiast and was a charter member of Legion Riders of American Legion Post 156 of Waltham, Ma. He was also a Past Commander of Post 156. Skip was employed for many years at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, Ct. Most recently he worked at Watertown Ford. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Relatives and friends are welcome to come celebrate Skip’s life by gathering for visiting hours on Thursday, July 20 from 2 to 5PM at the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main Street, Watertown, Ma., followed by 5PM Funeral Service. Burial with Military Honors will be on Friday July 21st at 10am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. The procession to Bourne will leave Nardone Funeral Home promptly at 8AM.
