               Velia (Lamorticelli) James, age 97, passed away on March 19, 2023. Loving mother of Frank Caruso & his wife Gail of Franklin, Thomas Caruso & his wife Marie and Toni Phillips & her wife Kate Lears. Cherished 'Grandma' to Stacy Williams, Jonathan Caruso, Julia Johnson, Michael Phillips, Theodore Phillips and Nina Phillips; great grandmother to 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Gilda Usher and the late Jeanne Frazier, Frank Lamorticelli, Ann Shedd, Domenic  Lamorticelli, Fiore  Lamorticelli, Joseph  Lamorticelli, Paul  Lamorticelli, Rose Johnson and Josephine Spinney. 

             Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Velia's life by gathering for a visitation on Friday March 24, 2023 from 12:30-1 PM followed by a 1 PM Funeral Home Service. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watertown.
