Thomas Guzzi

     Thomas Guzzi, age 74, of Groton, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026.
     He was the beloved husband of the late Susan (Harrell) Guzzi and cherished companion Gail. Dear brother of Stephanie LeForce and her husband Richard, James Guzzi, and the late Elayne Guzzi. Loving uncle to Jeneen, Rocco, Jonathan, Christopher, and Eric.
     Thomas was a lifelong animal lover with a special place in his heart for his horses, dogs, and cats. He spent many of his happiest hours caring for and simply being around his animals. He also loved the freedom of the open road and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
     Thomas will be remembered for his one-of-a-kind personality—a little sweet, a little salty, always authentic, and deeply caring toward the people he loved.
     He shared an especially close bond with his nephews Rocco and Eric, and throughout the years was an important and steady presence in their lives. The relationship they shared with their uncle was truly special and will always be cherished.
     Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Thomas' life by gathering for visiting hours on Saturday Oct 10, 2026 from 11 AM - 2 pm with a funeral home service at 2 pm.  A private burial will take place at a later date.
