Sally Ann (Provencher) Spagnuolo, 65, of Framingham, formerly of Waltham, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 after a two year battle with cancer. Her final moments were spent peacefully at her home lovingly surrounded by family.
Sally was born on February 9, 1958 in Waltham, MA to the late Dorothy Alice (Thompson) Provencher and Robert Edward Provencher. After graduating from Waltham High School in 1977, Sally began working as a nursing assistant at Waltham hospital where she met Emilio “Chip” Spagnuolo. She and Chip went on to marry on October 24, 1982.
After starting a family, Sally chose to channel her love of children and began working as a paraprofessional for Waltham Public Schools until her retirement in February of 2022.
Devoted wife of 40 years to Emilio “Chip” V. Spagnuolo, Jr. Loving mother of Nicole Gallagher and her husband Matthew, and Alison Spagnuolo and her wife Leah. Cherished 'Nana' of Bradley, Vincenzo, Genevieve, Brianna, and Giuseppe. Dear sister to Kim Provencher. Sally is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Sally's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown on Tuesday September 26th from 4-7 PM and again on Wednesday September 27th at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River St. Waltham. Burial is private.
