Ronald Hill Obituary

           Ronald James Hill, age 75 of Watertown & Wareham, passed away on June 1, 2022. Beloved husband of Annbella (Restuccia) Hill for 52 years. Loving father of Cheryl Hill, Christine Crain & her husband Stephen, and AnnMarie Sampson & her husband William. Loving grandfather to Courtney Marie Muttart, Devan Thomas Muttart, Sydney Annbella Crain, Madelyn Eliza Mae Muttart, James Cole Wallace Muttart, Mattison Elizabeth Crain and the late Derrick Angel Crain. Brother of Janet Marie (Hill) Conley & her late husband Spencer Conley. Uncle & Godfather to Colonel Christopher Conley, US Army (Retired). Godfather to Donald Deptula, Jr. and the late Robert Alexander. Son of the late M/Sgt. Ernest W. Hill & Mildred J. Egizio) Hill.

            Ron was a retired thirty eight (38) year Master Electrician and Network Operations Project Manager for Polaroid Corporation. Oversaw multiple Network Connections to Polaroid facilities throughout the United States. Coordinated the complete installation of a fiber optic network at the Polaroid manufacturing facility in Shanghai China. Retired Senior Facility Technician at Sprint Corporation, Boston. 

           Past order Sons and Daugthers of Italy in America, Grand Lodge State Second Vice President, Sate Recording Secretary, Grand Lodge Trustee at Large and Past President of the Oder Sons and Daugthers of Italy, Lodge Piave Fiume #1036 in Watertown. Past Sons and Daughters of Italy Grand Lodge State Deputy Commissioner. Past State Deputy to the Burlington Lodge #2223, the Braintree Men's Lodge #760 as well as the Fall River Lodge #1035. Member of the Massachusetts Justice of the Peace Association. Ron was dedicated to helping others, via the Cooley's Anemia Foundation and the Vietnam Veterans Association. An avid golfer, soccer coach and girls softball coach. He enjoyed family, researching his heritage and genealogy, camping, fishing, cooking, baking, the Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

           Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Ron's life by gathering for visiting hours on Sunday June 5th, 2022 from 2-5 PM and again on Monday at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 212 Main St. Watertown. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
