Rita (DeLuca) Bastianelli

      Rita Bastianelli, age 82 of Newton, passed away on April 21, 2024. Beloved wife to Michele Bastianelli since 1960, Loving mother of John Bastianelli & his wife Lucia, Sandra DiLuca & her husband Michael, and Marco Bastianelli & his wife Sandra. Cherished 'Nonna' of Daniel, Cassidy, Matthew, Melissa, Christian, Alex, Connor & Nicolas. Dear sister to Elia & Loredana.

     Family and friends are welcome to gather at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, 212 Main Street Watertown, Massachusetts for a viewing on Friday, April 26 at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass will follow at 10:00 AM celebrating Rita's life to remember the love and friendship she shared with others. Burial will follow the funeral mass in St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a donation in Rita's name to Lifeworks Inc at 789 Clapboardtree St. Westwood, MA 02090 in Memory of Rita Bastianelli. (Please include Rita's name on the donation so it goes directly to the Group home of Matthew and Melissa) or a charity of your choice.
