Peter Antonucci, age 92, a lifelong resident of Watertown, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Esther (Capone). Peter is the cherished brother of Mary D’Amato and the late Lena Miceli, Ann Frissore, Julia Vergato, Fred Antonucci, Anthony Antonucci, Regina O’Reilly, Silvio Antonucci, Dorothy Malmberg and Paul Antonucci. He was the uncle to many nieces and nephews, great-uncle and great-great uncle to many spanning four generations.
He served in the Navy from January 1951-1955, serving on the USS Strong. He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Watertown, enjoyed candlepin bowling, playing cards and traveling. The family would like to thank the staff of the Residence at Watertown for the care they gave Peter in his declining years
Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Peter's life by gathering for visiting hours on Tuesday June 28, 2022 in the Nardone Funeral Home 373 Main St Watertown from 10-12 NOON. A funeral home service will take place at 12 NOON. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery with Navy Honors.
