Ofelia (Susi) DiFonte

         Ofelia (Susi) DiFonte, age 87 of Waltham, Jan 30, 2024. Beloved wife of 72 years to Aldo DiFonte.
Loving mother of Aldo Jr., Joseph, Stephen & his wife Ann. Cherished ‘Nonna’ to Nicole, Dr. Maria DiFonte, Anthony, Marisa, Joey, Stevie & Jackson DiFonte. Dear sister to the late Benito ‘Benny’
and Nerio Susi.
      On February 28, 1936, Ofelia was born in Sulmona, Italy and raised there until the age of
15 when she came to America with her younger brother Benito. She lived 3 years in the North
End of Boston, and then moved to Watertown where she raised her family, until moving to her
present home in Waltham.
     Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Ofelia’s life by gathering for a visitation hour on Monday in the Nardone Funeral Home 373 Main St. Watertown from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, 212 Main St. Watertown. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
