Neal & Elaine O'Neill

     Neal “Speedy” O’Neill age 83 formerly of Brighton Ma, Lakeville Ma, and Fort Myers Florida passed away on December 30, 2022. At the time he was the beloved husband to Elaine (Patuto) O’Neill. 

     Elaine (Patuto) O'Neill age 82 formerly of Brighton Ma, Lakeville Ma, and Fort Myers Florida passed away on September 24, 2025, at Bridges by EPOCH in Westwood Ma. Beloved wife to the late Neal “Speedy” O’Neill. They both are survived by many nieces and nephews and great  nieces and nephews.

     Neal and Elaine both grew up in Brighton eventually dating and marrying. They spent their summers in Lakeville with many friends and family. They enjoyed the weekly Saturday breakfast with family and friends, boat rides around the lake and always the end of summer progressive supper with all friends and family in Lakeville. They later moved to Florida where they resided for the last 25 years until Neal’s passing. Elaine’s nieces and nephew made the decision to move her back to Massachusetts to be closer to family and to live in a memory facility where she thrived and was well taken care of. She enjoyed her times out with her nieces and nephew whether it was for a holiday or someone’s birthday.

    Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Elaine & Neal's lived by gathering for visiting hours on Wednesday October 8, 2025 from 4-6:30 PM in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown, MA. A funeral home service will follow at 6:30 PM. Burial will be private.
