Obituary

Mary A. (Bernard) MacFadgen passed away at her home on June 27, 2023 after a long illness. She was 84. Mary was born in Royersford, PA. She graduated from Immaculata College. She was a Pennsylvania state rifle champion and an Olympic markswoman. She was a civilian employee for the U.S. government. She shared her love of cooking with her daughters and granddaughters. Her “happy place” was in the garden. She had a witty sense of humor and she was very creative.

She is predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Frederick S. MacFadgen and daughter Wendy (MacFadgen) Spencer. She leaves behind daughters Laura MacFadgen, Amy (MacFadgen) Keller and Megan MacFadgen; grandchildren Erika Keller, Emily Keller, Mason Spencer and Justin Spencer; brothers Eugene Bernard and David Bernard and sister Maria Mitton.

Services will be held at Nardone Funeral Home on Thursday July 6, 2023.
