Louie Marotta, 74, of Watertown, MA passed away December 6, 2020 after a short illness. He attended Perkins School for the Blind where he found his talent for auto repair. He later trained and worked as an auto mechanic rebuilding Volkswagen engines. Louie lived independently and enjoyed helping his neighbors and friends. He had a passion for all thing electronic. He loved working with old radios. He was also a licensed ham radio operator and enjoyed communicating with people from around the world. Louie is survived by his mother Anita (Boucher) Abbis, his sister Shirley Marotta, his brother Fred Marotta, his good friend Dottie Adamo, and many other friends and relatives.
Due to recent health concerns, there are no services scheduled at this time. If you desire, gifts may be made in the memory of Louie to Perkins School for the Blind or Carroll Center for the Blind.
