Lorraine (Weagle) DeMeo, Age 93, passed away on June 15, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born in Millis, MA and was a lifelong resident of Waltham. She was the wife of the late Raymond S DeMeo and daughter of the late Beverly C and Mary (Corcoran) Weagle. She is survived by her children, Patricia Dunton (late Richard), Diane Saran (Nick), Raymond (Ida), Gregory, and Paul. She was the cherished Grammy/Mimi to 11 grandchildren; Scott, Shawn, Jeffrey, Raymond, Melissa, Stephen, Meredith, Amy, Devon, Kenzie, and Charles, as well as 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Edward Weagle (Carol) of Farmington, New Hampshire. She was predeceased by siblings William, Robert, Thelma White, Barbara Burns, Claire Carroll, Ruth Tabor, and Beverly Charles Jr. She also leaves many nieces, nephew, cousins & friends.
Lorraine loved life and people. She was devoted to her family and was an exceptional role model for generosity, kindness, selflessness, and faith. She enjoyed traveling over the years with her husband and friends to places like Las Vegas, Florida, New Orleans, California, and Italy. She spent many happy summer days at her cottage in Moody Beach, Maine. Her gambling luck and poker skills were legendary. She loved to entertain and was a gracious host to many celebrations, parties and dinners for family and friends. She had a positive attitude and remained active throughout her life.
Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Lorraine’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown on Wednesday June 19th, from 4-7 PM and again on Thursday June 20th,at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church in Waltham. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
