Lorraine (Park) Capone, age 70 of Waltham passed away on July 22, 2025. Beloved wife to Bob Capone. Loving mother of Angela Terrio & her husband Paul, Stephanie (Capone) O'Brien and Anthony Capone & his wife Katrina. Cherished "Grammie" to Michelle Correia, Ryan Cummings, Erica Cummings, Mackenzie O'Brien, Parker O'Brien, Gino Capone and Lucas Capone. Dear sister of Linda Park and the late Ralph, Irving, Robert, William Jr. and Donald Park and devoted sister in law to Donald Capone.
For over 30 years, Lorraine proudly served as a school crossing guard at both the Fitzgerald School and St. Jude's School. She was a familiar and friendly face to generations of children and families, always greeting each day with a warm smile and a watchful eye. Her dedication, kindness, and unwavering sense of responsibility made her a treasured presence in the community.
As much as she loved her work, the title she cherished most was “Grammie.” Lorraine adored spending time with her grandchildren, and they were truly the heart of her world. Whether it was attending their events, sharing stories, or simply being together, those moments brought her the greatest joy.
Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Lorraine's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown on Monday July 28, 2025 from 4-7 PM followed by a 7 PM Funeral Home Service. Burial will be private.
