Linda (Daley) Powers

    Linda (Daley) Powers, age 68 of Waltham, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Linda was the wife of the late Richard Powers and the mother of Ashley Powers & her husband Ryan Healy, Sean Powers, and son-in-law Anthony Luongo and the late Kayla Luongo. She was grandmother to Elizabeth 'Elle' Luongo, sister of Mary Daley & Michael Daley, and daughter of Barbara Daley & the late Harold Daley.

    Linda will always be remembered as a devoted Celtics fan whose passion for the team was matched only by her love for animals. Linda dedicated her life to serving others as a Diet Supervisor at Waltham Hospital, Newton Wellesley Hospital, and New England Baptist Hospital. A cherished friend and neighbor, Linda inspired those around her with her kindness and generosity. She found solace in her faith, the beach, and in the heartfelt melodies of country music.

    Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Linda's life by gathering for a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 10:30 am in Our Lady's Parish in Waltham. A burial will follow in Mt. Feake Cemetery.
