Judith Ann (McKeever) Cannon of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph W. Cannon and son Michael Cannon. Survived by her children George Cannon, Joseph W. Cannon, Jr., Cecily Santoro, Patricia Fokas, John F. Cannon, Kathleen Cannon and Maryanne Cannon, and her eight grandchildren, Andrew, Eileen, Maddy, Michael, Brianna, Joseph, Joan and Sofia, as well as one great-grandchild, Grace. Born in Boston December 12, 1931 to John and Muriel R. McKeever, she is survived by her sister Jean Goganian. Graduate of Watertown High School and Katharine Gibbs.
Judith, along with her husband and family, were the proprietors of the Town Crier Motel in Eastham, Ma. for 34 years, developing friendships with many of the people who stayed there. She served on the Eastham Chamber of Commerce board, hosted countless meetings and parties at the motel and made a difference in the lives of many. Always ready to listen, laugh, or cry with anyone who needed it, she leaves an enormous legacy. As her sister observed, she sparkled even in the daytime.
Mass Service will be held at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral 212 Main Street, Watertown MA 02472 on Tuesday August 24, 2021 at 10 am.
