Joseph Vergona

             Joseph Vergona, co-owner of Bemis Market, Age 93, of Watertown, passed away on July 3, 2022. Beloved husband of 60 years to Antonia (Arpino) Vergona. Loving father of Rita Bopp and her husband James, Anna Maria Tanner and her husband Michael, and Felice “Felix” Vergona. Cherished grandfather to Stephen Bopp and his wife Cassandra; and great-grandfather to Sienna and Emerson. Dear brother of Bernadette Concetti and her husband Peter, and the late Francesca LaCava and her husband Gaetano. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

            Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Joseph’s life by gathering for Visiting Hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St., WATERTOWN on Thursday from 4-7 PM and again on Friday at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
