Joan (Barbato) Nelson

   Joan (Barbato) Nelson, age 81 of Watertown passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 6, 2024. Beloved wife of 54 years to Robert A. Nelson. Loving mother of Robert C. Nelson & Mark Nelson. Cherished grandmother to Alexander & Lillian Nelson. Dear sister to Charles Barbato and his wife Patricia, Thomas Barbato, Diane Shepard & her husband Thomas, Donald Barbato & his late wife Lucille, Richard Barbato & his wife Carol, Arthur Barbato & his wife Jenny, Paul Barbato & his wife Susan, Robert 'Bobby' Barbato, Susan Barbato & Joseph Barbato. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

    Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Joan's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown on Saturday December 14, 2024 from 2-5 PM followed by a 5 PM  memorial service. Burial private.
