Jeanne O'Connell

           Jeanne M. O’Connell, age 75, long time resident of Watertown, MA and Malden, MA, passed away on Friday April 1, 2022 after a debilitating battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She is survived by her children Lynn (Jim), Cheryl (Damian), and Jason (Meggan), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Richard (Judith), and closest friends who were the sisters of her heart – the Care Girls. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph S. Feola and Regina M. Feola.
           Jeanne always said that her greatest achievement was raising three independent, thoughtful children to adulthood and successes of their own, but she was also a proud member of MENSA, and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Tufts University, holding multiple degrees in education
and African American history. Jeanne taught for several years at Medford High School before embarking on a lengthy career at Abt Associates in Cambridge where she got to show off her superior organizational skills during the many complex clinical trial projects she worked on.  Her beautiful smile, kind nature, and love of 50’s music will be missed the most.
         Jeanne’s children want to gently remind you to leave nothing important unsaid, live every day to the fullest, and consult an attorney to make long-term care plans while you are still able to contribute your own opinions on the matter.
        Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Jeanne's life by gathering for visiting hours on Friday April 15, 2022 in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main Street, Watertown, MA 02472 from 4 - 7 PM. A memorial service will take place at 5 PM. Burial private.
