Jackson 'Jack' Norman Walsh, passed away suddenly at his home on December 26, 2018.
Jack loved music and always had a tune playing. He would sing and his dance moves were unparalleled. He liked to read books (of course his own story in his own language - but it made perfect sense!) His favorites were Pout Pout Fish, the little Blue Truck and anything Sesame Street or Elmo. He enjoyed swimming in the summer and seeing all of the Christmas lights this year. He was starting to sing songs by himself like ABC'S and the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Jack was always funny, happy and the center of attention, his smile lit up the room wherever he was. He was starting to say words like Hi, bye-Bye, Thank you, Nana, more, no, all done and his favorite food, cheese!
Jack is survived by his devoted parents Watertown Fire Fighter Harry Walsh and Michelle (Herlihy) Walsh, his grandparents Tom and Laurie Walsh of Watertown and John and Denise Herlihy of Waltham. His great-grandmother Margaret Walsh. His aunts and uncles Matt and Maureen Connell of Woburn, Stephen and Sarah Herlihy of Westwood, and Karen and Sean Dougherty of West Chester Ohio. His cousins Avery, Gavin & William Herlihy, Abby & Brooklyn Dougherty and Rose & Thomas Connell. Jack is also survived by his loving dog Sadie and many great aunts & uncles.
Family and friends will honor and remember Jack's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St., WATERTOWN, on Monday December 31, 2018 from 9-10:30 AM, followed by an 11 AM Funeral Mass in Saint Patrick's Church, 212 Main St. Watertown. Burial in Pine Haven Cemetery, 84 Bedford St. Burlington.
