Ines (DiTinno) Tiberi

     Ines (DiTinno) Tiberi age 103 of Watertown passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025.

    Born in Italy in 1921 to Giacomo & Marianna (Gentile) DiTinno, Ines immigrated to the United States in 1951 with her young daughter Anna, carrying with her a fierce determination, an impeccable eye for beauty, and a deep love for her homeland. She began a new life in America, where she poured her talent and precision into her work as a seamstress at a local bridal shop.

    Ines had an innate appreciation for elegance, she believed in carrying herself with pride and grace. She liked the finer things in life, but it was her strength of will and her boundless love for her family that defined her most.

    Her roots in Italy were forever close to her heart. Each year, she would return back to her native village of Castrovalva with her daughter, rekindling her connection to the land, the traditions, and the community she loved.

    She was a doting mother to the late Anna Tiberi. Cherished sister to the late Rosa DiLuzio & her husband Anthony. Dear aunt to the late Georgio DiLuzio & his late wife Phyllis. Devoted great aunt to Rose and Angela & her husband John and great great aunt to Nico & Marco and Gia & Felicia.

     Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Ines’ life by gathering on Friday in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St., WATERTOWN, from 9-9:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, 212 Main St., Watertown. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
