Hunter Mugford Obituary

Hunter Iolani Mugford passed away April 17, 2020 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Hunter was born and raised in Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i, and a graduate of Parker High School in Waimea. He attended The Art Institute of New England and graduated with a degree in graphic design. He combined his graphic skills and his love for video games working in the gaming industry in Seattle.
Hunter enjoyed cooking, movies, barbecue cookouts and spending time with his family. He was especially dedicated to his father and his nephew, assisting both through caregiving and helping them with doctor's appointments and hospital stays.
Hunter's favorite place to visit was the Super 88 Asian Market in Boston. He was an amazing cook and he loved to walk the aisles and find new foods and dishes to try at home. He would always pick up something special for his nephew to try, too.
Hunter is survived by his sister Amber Bobnar, brother-in-law Esoos Bobnar, nephew Ivan Bobnar and father Patrick Mugford, all of Watertown, Massachusetts, and his mother Jana Troute of Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i.
