Helen D'Alelio

    Helen L. D’Alelio, age 83, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 24th.  Loving sister to Dorothy Silva ( brother-in-law Frank), brother Ralph ( sister-in-law Kathy).  Loving aunt to Dawn Patton, (her husband Rob, and children; Tyler, Sydney, Evan), Mark D’Alelio ( his wife Toi ), Paul Capodanno ( his wife Dori and Children; Carter, Ryan, Grayson), Jason Capodanno ( his wife Chrissy and children; Ella, Tessa).

     Helen graduated from Watertown High School in 1958 with honors; National Honors Society, Cum Laude.  She was a registered nurse with a BS from Simmons College 5 year nursing program, and received an MSN degree from Boston University. She subsequently taught pediatrics nursing at St. Elizabeth’ s Hospital in Brighton, MA for 35 years, and upon retirement worked in the University of Massachusetts nursing programs for several more years. 

   Services were held privately by family in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Boston.
