Giuseppe (Joseph) Pancaldo, 89, of Waltham, Massachusetts, passed away on March 14, 2025. He was born on December 2, 1935, in Pecorino Mare on the island of Filicudi, Italy, to the late Maria Grazia (Rando) and Anthony Pancaldo. Joseph was the second of three children, and he was predeceased by his sister Catina Rando. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Feroci.
Joseph had a long and fulfilling career, working as a Master Diesel and Marine Mechanic for General Motors Corporation. He was also the proud owner of J and S Truck and Auto in Waltham, MA. His work ethic was unparalleled, and he was known for his dedication and expertise. Outside of his professional life, Joseph had many passions. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, taking care of his homes, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
A man of deep faith, Joseph was one of the founding members of Elevation Chapel (Christian Pentecostal Church) in Newtonville, MA. When not working, Joseph could often be found in church or helping family and friends, offering his support and guidance. His love for Jesus Christ and his desire to share the message of His saving grace touched everyone he met.
Joseph leaves behind his devoted and beloved wife, Lydia, as well as his daughters Anna DeLuca (husband Joseph), Lisa Pancaldo, Stella Giusti (husband Brian), and Susana Moncousky (husband Charlie). He was a proud grandfather to Lydia and Sara Giusti, Charlie, Elijah, and Natalie Moncousky. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews: Cecilia and Anthony Feroci, the late George Rando, and Josephine Rando Babcock.
Visiting hours will be held at Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472, on Thursday, March 20th, from 4-7 pm. All May gather on Friday March 21, 2025 at 10 AM for a Celebration of Life in Elevation Chapel Church, 150 Lowell Ave, Newtonville, MA 02460. Burial to follow in Mt. Feake Cemetery Waltham, MA.
