Frances Caruso Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Caruso on December 2, 2024 at Newton Wellesley Hospital. Fran Caruso was born on February 16, 1936 and lived her entire life in Watertown. She was the very best mother and housewife and Grammy and she will be missed terribly. She was from a family of 16, so had many siblings, nieces and nephews whom she loved very much - she was friendly, funny and loved life. She enjoyed long walks, playing bingo, and meeting new people at her assisted living community. She enjoyed cooking and hosting holiday and pool parties. Her grand kids and great grandkids truly lit up her life, and she certainly was not above spoiling them rotten, and always slyly tucking away a $5 bill in their hands.

She is survived by her Husband of almost 70 years - Jim Caruso, Daughter Debbie Aiello, Son in Law Jim Aiello, Grand Children, Hannah Rubio and her husband Jose, Jess Cusano and her husband Steve, DJ Aiello and his wife Elena, Kelsey Margolis and her husband Cory and Taylor and Cody Caruso. Great Grand Children Anthony, Francesca, Grace and Antonia. Her Sisters, Mary, Elena and Flossie and her brother Junior. She was preceded in death by Her late son Ron Caruso, her late parents Phyllis and Joseph DeFelice, her late brothers, Alby, Mickie, Tony, Georgie, Louie, and Rockie. Her late Sisters Theresa, Tina, and Rita.
