Florence Doo

    Florence (Leung) Doo, age 88, formerly of Watertown, passed away on January 19, 2025. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Willie, and her daughter Cynthia. Devoted mother to daughters Loretta Pena and husband Robert, Deborah Harrington and husband David, Roberta Langevin and husband Jerry and son Douglas Doo and wife Valerie. Cherished grandmother to Lindsey, Daniel, Megan, Tyler, Jade, Rachel, Kelsey, Robert, Wesley, Shannon and John and great-grandmother to Antonio, Asia, Amare, Trey, Myles, Luis, Avery, Charlotte and William. Beloved daughter of the late Ying Young and Yet Kiu Leung and sister of David Leung. After graduating from Nashua High School in 1954,
    Florence worked at many jobs meeting people with whom she developed long lasting friendships. She volunteered for church groups, was a Girl Scout leader and always took the lead in engaging everyone in group activities. Florence opened her heart and home to so many people over the years. She loved planning themed vacations in Maine and enjoyed motorcycle rides with Willie.

    Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Florence's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown on Monday January 27, 2025 from 9-11 AM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Forest Hill's Cemetery in Boston. A celebration of life gathering will be held following the funeral service at Bernard's in Chestnut Hill.
