Fabio 'Frank' Rozzi

   Fabio Rozzi, a beloved husband, father, and pillar of the Watertown community for over six decades, passed away peacefully at his home on July 12, 2024. He was 85 years old. Fabio was born in Castrovalva, Italy, and at the age of 16, he embarked on a journey to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream. He settled in Watertown, MA, in 1955 and quickly embraced his new home. A few years later, he proudly became a United States citizen, a moment he cherished throughout his life.  In 1962, Fabio answered the call to serve his adopted country and enlisted in the US Army. He served with honor for two years, embodying the values of dedication and patriotism.

    Following his military service, Frank pursued a career in plumbing, a profession in which he excelled and eventually established his own successful business, "Rozzi Plumbing & Heating". For 35 years, he served the Watertown community with skill and integrity, earning a reputation for reliability and craftsmanship.

     While Frank was dedicated to his work, his greatest joy came from his family. He was a loving husband to his wife Anna for 60 years, a devoted father to his children, and a proud Papa to his grandchildren. He always made sure that his family came first, nurturing strong bonds and creating lasting memories.

     Throughout his life, Fabio maintained strong ties to his Italian heritage. He was a long-time member of various Italian organizations, where he enjoyed sharing stories of his upbringing and celebrating cultural traditions with friends and neighbors.

     Frank will be remembered for his warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to those he loved. His presence in the community leaves an indelible mark, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

     Frank is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Anna (DiDonato) Rozzi. Loving father of Joseph Rozzi & his companion Mandy Fleming and Lisa Whelan & her late husband Paul. Cherished “Papa” to Victoria & Joseph Rozzi. Dear brother of Panfilo “Leo” and the late Nicola “Nicky” Rozzi and brother-in-law to Frances “Fran” DiDonato.

     Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Frank’s life by gathering for Visiting Hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St., WATERTOWN, on Thursday July 18th,  from 4-7 pm, and again on Friday July 19th at 9 AM, followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in St. Luke’s Parish in Belmont. Burial with Military Honors in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
