Elvira 'Vera' (Caira) Rosati age 87, passed away on May 30, 2025. Devoted wife of 64 years to the late Retired Watertown Firefighter Daniel Rosati. Loving mother of Donna Rosati and Deb Dunham & her husband Tim. Cherished grandmother to Emily, Ben, Olivia, Ashley & Sarah. Dear sister to the late Sylvia Brunaccini & Virginia Carme.
She was an avid reader who found joy in the simple pleasures of life—playing cards and board games, cheering on her beloved Boston Bruins, and enjoying memorable trips to Foxwoods with her sisters. She began her career as a secretary at General Electric, where she worked for many years before devoting herself to raising her family. Later, she joined the Perkins School for the Blind, where she spent nearly three decades working in the business office. Her dedication, kindness, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Vera's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown on Thursday June 5, 2025 from 5-7 PM followed by a 7 PM Funeral Home Service. Graveside service Friday at 10 AM in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
