Elisa (Goncalves) Soares

       Elisa (Goncalves) Soares, age 95 of Watertown, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 8, 2024. Beloved wife to the late Manuel De Jesus Soares. Loving mother of Jose Soares & his wife Gorete, Maria Elisa Soares DaRocha and the late Manuel Dos Santos Soares. Cherished "Nanny" to Peter Soares & his wife Melina, Jennifer Soares, Michelle DaRocha & her husband Jose Portela and Stephanie Schettini & her husband Joseph. She also leaves behind her two loving great grandchildren Alexus & Francesco Soares. Dear sister to Ana Goncalves and the late Madalena de Jesus Goncalves, Joanquim Goncalves Paulo, Maria de Jesus Goncalves, Maria de Jesus Goncalves, Manuel Goncalves Paulo Jr., Antonio Goncalves Paulo, Jose Goncalves Paulo and Joao Goncalves Paulo. 

      Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Elisa's life by gathering for a Visitation Hour In the Nardone Funeral Home on Friday January 12  from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in St. Luke's in Belmont. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
