Edward R. Crescitelli, Jr. (a/k/a Butchy, Sonny, Sully, and Reverend), age 85 of Watertown, Massachusetts, passed away on December 7, 2024. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Diane (Farrell) Crescitelli and her daughter Kim, and his sisters Sharon Cullinane, Denise Parziale, and Deborah Nolan. His former wife, Audrey (Callanan) Carmel, also survives him. Born and raised in Watertown, Ed was the owner/operator of Charles Bank Garage & Boat Company for 66 years. He was well-known for his tireless work ethic. He was a member of the Newton Yacht Club and Marina Bay, Quincy. Beyond his professional life, Eddie was a true gentleman with a profound sense of humor, who found joy in life’s simpler pleasures—meals at favorite local spots, boating and fishing, taking rides to the beach, and the companionship of Belle, his beloved cat. His family, friends, and many customers will deeply miss him.
Nardone Funeral Home will conduct the private funeral services. The Interment will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
