As a young woman, she worked as a clerk at Kennedy’s and Jordan Marsh Department Stores in Boston before marrying and raising her children in Watertown, MA. She was the planner of many New England road trips with her friends Mary, Pearlsie, Lydia, Margaret, Carmella, Lorraine, and Marie. An endearing matriarch of the family, she was always giving of her heart and wisdom. She had the gift of familial storytelling and was always excited to celebrate birthdays and the precious milestones of our lives. She enjoyed musical plays, TV detective stories and sit-coms, crossword puzzles, bowling, fashion, travelling (especially driving) and simply relaxing with a cup of tea and dessert.
