Dolores 'Dolly' Grandinetti, Age 89 of Watertown, passed away on June 3, 2023. Beloved wife of 40 years to the late Dominic Grandinetti. Loving mother of Dom, Fred Grandinetti & beloved dog, Jake. Cherished daughter to the late Michelina (Guglielmo) DeMeo & Salvatore DeMeo. Dear sister to the late Anna DeMeo, Kaye DeMeo, Margaret Quinlan, Jay Cardillo, Rose Rizzo, Helen Olivo, Joseph DeMeo and Albert DeMeo.
Dolly spent her years working at the Watertown Savings Bank and also the Town of Watertown as assistant to the purchasing agent. She actively assisted the veteran's department often counseling members of our military. She participated in several Memorial Day parades in Watertown. Dolly was quite active with the Sacred Heart Church in Waltham where appeared in several minstrel shows and was a longtime member of the church choir. Dolly also worked for Riseberg's in Waltham for several years. When she was not working or volunteering her time she loved to dance with her sons, sisters and friends. She traveled all over the world and enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life. She was a care and kind soul who was always concerned with the welfare of others and went out of her way to help people. She will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Dolly’s life by gathering in the Nardone Funeral Home 373 Main St Watertown for Visiting Hours on Wednesday from 9-11 AM, followed by an 11 AM Funeral Home Service. Burial to follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
