David Bolduc Obituary

David Bolduc Jr. age 91 of Watertown, passed away on Tuesday  April 11, 2023. Beloved husband of 67 years to Rose (Daloia) Bolduc. Loving father of Patricia Bolduc, David Bolduc III & Linda, Rosemarie Doolin & her husband Richard, Stephen Bolduc & his wife Sharon. Cherished ‘Papa & Grandpa’ to 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Catherine Letourneau. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  He was the son of the late David & Catherine (Pickett) Bolduc.

David was born and raised in Somerville and then moved to Watertown where he raised his family and lived for almost 60 years.  He served honorably in the US Army as a Corporal during the Korean War.  Before he retired, he worked for many years as a foreman for the DCR (formerly the MDC).  After retirement, he was a Watertown Crossing Guard for the Lowell School on the Corner of Orchard Street and Waverly Avenue for over 20 years.

David (Papa) loved meeting and talking to people, working in his garden, whistling, camping, and dancing.  He was a devoted husband and father and treasured the time spent with his grandchildren.  David brought laughter and joy to all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate David’s life by gathering in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown for visiting hours on Thursday April 13, 2023 from 4-7 PM and again on Friday April 14, 2023 at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church.
