   Daniel Shields, age 79 of Watertown passed away on August 25, 2025. Beloved husband to Linda 'Big Ma' (Forte) Shields. Devoted father of Danny Shields Jr., John Shields & his wife Michelle, Linda 'Nucci' Shields-Forman & her husband Gary, Jake Shields & his wife Ally. Cherished 'Papa' to John Shields Jr., Michael Shields, Jadeyn Shields, Quinn Shields and Matilda Shields.  Loving great-grandfather to James Shields. Dear brother of Carol Noun, Joan Tierney, Betty Barra & Donna Shields. 

   Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Daniel’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown on Wednesday September 3, 2025 from 4-7 PM and again on Thursday September 4, 2025 at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, 212 Main St. Watertown. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
