Concetta "Connie" (Rossi) Coppola, a retired homemaker passed away suddenly on Wednesday November 9th, 2022. She was 94 .
Born in Atina, Italy she lived in London before immigrating to US where she settled in Newton for 42 years. Connie lived in Waltham for the past 18 years.
Connie held a variety of jobs thru the years: The Puritan Dress Company, Barry Controls, University Bank and most famously, The Professors Dining Hall at Bentley University. However, the most important role was grandmother and great-grandmother in raising Adriana, Marina and Tyler. This job she held for over 40 years.
She leaves her daughter Bruna Quaglieri of Waltham, her beloved granddaughter Adriana Callahan and husband Matthew of Burlington, her treasured great-grandchildren Marina and Tyler of Burlington, her sisters Maria Coppola of Watertown,Caterina Bastianell of Newton, Mario Rossi of Waltham, Onorio Rossi of Meredith NH, her special God-children Angie, Steve, Ralph, John and many loved nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late Mario Coppola, sister of late Anna Antonucci, Antonio Rossi, Alberto Rossi , Paul Rossi and Joseph Rossi. She was the most special friend to so many special friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her services at the Nardone Funeral Home 373 Main Street Watertown on Tuesday November 15th from 9 AM to 10:30 AM and proceed to a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Our Lady's Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 920 Trapelo Road ,Waltham. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery.
