Cheryl K. Segreve, of Watertown, passed away on October 16, 2022 at the age of 64. She was born on April 8, 1958 to the late Edmund King and Rena (Stobo). After graduating Matignon High School in 1976 she furthered her education at Northeastern University and earned a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education. She worked various jobs in physical education, she taught aerobics classes at the YMCA, worked at Newton Wellesley Hospital, Bentley College, Stride Right, Hobbs Brook, Yolanda’s Bridal Shop, Frank’s Steak house, the Flower Depot and in most recent years working for the Watertown Public School System as a Playgroup facilitator & on site coordinator. She was a friendly face & the “heart of the program” you would always see at the Watertown Family Center, formerly Watertown Family Network.
Cheryl leaves behind her beloved husband of 39 years to Steven Segreve. Loving mother of Steven Segreve Jr & his wife Corinne (Mathews), Daniel Segreve & his wife Kasey (Beaudoin), Kenneth Segreve & his wife Aleksa (Subatis). Cherished 'Mimi' to Alex, Jake, Joey, Tessa, Matthew, Xander and Colton. Devoted sister to Teddy King & his wife Millie (Poillucci) and Richie King and his companion Pat (Sullivan). Dear sister in law to Janet (Segreve) & her husband Philip Pescosolido, Michael Segreve & his wife Nancy (Lynch), Karen (Segreve) and Richard Duarte. Cheryl is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Cheryl's life by gathering for visiting hours in ST. PATRICKS CHURCH, 212 Main St. Watertown on Thursday from 4-7 PM and again on Friday for a 10 mass. Burial to follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Cheryl's name to The Miller/Tracy Children’s Foundation, who will be administering the Cheryl K. Segreve Scholarship Fund, which has been established to sponsor preschool education for deserving children in Watertown.
