Caterina (Rossi) Bastianelli

    Caterina (Rossi) Bastianelli, age 87 of Newton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday March 23, 2026. Beloved wife to the late Armando 'Tony' Bastianelli. Loving mother of Denise Bastianelli, Lisa Mastromattei & her husband Stephen and Diane Bastianelli & her husband Albert Clark. Cherished 'Grandma' to Andrew, James and Jonathan Mastromattei and Ariana & Ava Clark;  and also her beloved cat Peppi and grand-pup, Bree.  Dear sister to Maria Coppola & Mario Rossi. Cherished Zia to many loving nieces and nephews. 

   Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Caterina's life by gathering for a visitation hour in Our Lady's Help of Christians Parish in Newton on Thursday March 26, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass in the church. Burial will be held privately by the family.
