Arthur Brutti Obituary

             Arthur Brutti, age 96 of Watertown, Sept 10, 2022. Beloved husband of Angelina (Binari) for 71 years. Loving father of Robert J. Brutti Sr. & his wife Lorraine (Gulla), Marianne & her husband Frank Barrett,Linda & her husband Kevin Melia and the late Arthur M. Brutti. Loving grandfather to Robert J. Brutti Jr. & his wife Jill, Rachel Brutti & her husband Corey Catalfamo, Angie Melia & her husband Ben Rogers, Jake Melia & his wife Kasey, Nina Melia & her husband Michael Smith, Linda Melia & her husband Dan Wolinski and Conni Melia& her husband Jon Davidson. Loving great-grandfather to Robert J., III, & Benjamin Brutti, Brayden Catalfamo, Aubree, Joey & Mia Smith, Cassidy & Dylan Rogers, Lucy, Quinton & Lilly Melia and William Wolinski. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He served in the US Navy during World War II aboard the USS Arkansas in both the Pacific and Atlantic theaters, most notably during the D-Day invasion of Normandy in the Atlantic and the Battle of Iwo Jima and the Battle of Okinawa in the Pacific. A long-time resident of Watertown, he retired from the Watertown DPW after 30 years of employment. He spent his retirement years enjoying his family and tending to his vegetable gardens.

             Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Arthur’s life by gathering for Visiting Hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St., WATERTOWN, on Tuesday from 9-11 AM, followed by an 11 AM Funeral Home Service. Burial with Military Honors in Ridgelawn Cemetery
