Anna Maria J. DeAngelis-Veduccio passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2020. Dearest granddaughter of the late Chief of Police of Newton, Massachusetts, Nicholas Veduccio. Devoted daughter of the late Edward R. Veduccio and the late Anna Maria "Nina" Deangelis, both of Newton, Massachusetts. Loving sister of the late Edward L. Veduccio of Newton, Massachusetts and Readsboro, Vermont. Dear mother of Tina Louise Ober. Beloved grandmother of Francesca Ober -Laurent and the late Francois Ober. Also survived by many friends and relatives.Born in Newton, Massachusetts and known throughout her life by her nicknames of Bonnie and Bona, she graduated from Newton North High School and studied at Northeastern University in Boston, and Lasell College in Newton. Well known for her beauty, style and grace, in mid-life, Bonnie pursued and became a Model for Barbizon Modeling Agency in Boston. Bonnie was known for her uncanny resemblance of the late Marilyn Monroe. Following in her late grandfathers footsteps in Law Enforcement, Bonnie became a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Middlesex County. Bonnie was a strong, independent woman. Bonnie battled Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and won. Bonnie enjoyed playing with her adored himalayan cat Jade, gardening,sewing, interior decorating, painting and design, she adored lilacs, travel, art, fashion, Cadillacs, her favorite color was green, she loved the fragrance White Linen by Estee Lauder, home improvement projects, spending beautiful sunny days seaside in the quaint Town of Rockport, Massachusetts, had a ferocious sweet tooth, loved a nice cold glass of Pinot Grigio. Bonnies greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandchildren,
Interment will be private. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life Luncheon will be announced and held at a later date. Memorial Donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
