Ann Webster Obituary

Ann (Muehlig) Webster, age 88 of Chelmsford passed away suddenly on Friday April 3, 2020.  She leaves behind her soulmate and love of her life, Fred Webster.  Ann is survived by her sister Judith Duggan of Methuen, and had a very large blended family whom she cherished and who cherished her.
Ann grew up in Belmont.   After marrying she moved to Burlington to raise her three children: Donald, Lynne and Brenda.  Donald Moultrop and his wife Deb of Wilmington, Lynne Almeida and her husband Larry of Burlington and Brenda Sullivan and her husband Danny of Arlington.  Loving step mother of Cheryl Magnant and her husband Fred of Chelmsford, Kathy Coraccio of Florida and Jan Barbuti and her husband John of Hudson, NH. Ann leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
In Ann's early 50's she met Fred. They met on a bus that was bringing a group of people to a cruise ship, for which they both were attending. From the day they met it was true love. The stories of them chasing each other around the cruise ship has not been confirmed nor denied. They then married on August 14th, 1993.
Ann and Fred loved to get together with the family and friends. They continued to enjoy travel and cruises throughout their life together. They both adored the ocean so much, they made frequent yearly trips to Good Harbor hotel in Gloucester.
The majority of Ann's working career was dedicated to aiding others. As a Certified Nurses Assistant she took care of the elderly at the Carlton Willard in Bedford, and often times she would form strong bonds with her patients. When Ann hit the age of 70, the family would ask her when she would retire, she consistently replied "oh next year". That continued for another 5 years. She loved helping people.
Ann was one of those people that no matter who you spoke to, you would only hear wonderful things said about her. She was an incredibly bright, elegant, classy, and a well-read woman, who's laugh was unforgettable. Above all, she loved God and her family. We were so blessed to have her.
Ann once said that when she passed over, she wanted to be thought of with a smile and if that could not be done she didn't want to be thought of at all. Through our sadness we will always smile when we think of you Ann.

Family and friends may gather on October 18, 2020 at 11:30 for a funeral home service to celebrate Fred & Ann's life. A burial will take place by the family at a later date.
