Angela 'Rosa' Sansevero Obituary

             Angela 'Rosa' Sansevero, Age 95 of Watertown, passed away on August 3, 2021. Beloved wife of 76 years to Amedeo Sansevero. Loving mother of Rosemarie Arruda & her husband Nuno. Cherished 'Nonna' to Isabella, Juliana and Paulo Arruda. Dear sister of the late Domenico, Nicoletta, Vincenza, Nicola, Camillo & Anna.

         Rosa was born in Carsoli, Italy to the late Giuseppe & Maria Caniglia. Her parents passed away when she was 6 & 10 and was raised by her older siblings.  After her family moved to Filetto and lived there until she was married to Amedeo. After their marriage and the war they immigrated to Argentina and started their family. When their daughter was 4 they then decided to come to America where they then settled in Watertown.  Rosa's life was centered around family, she adored her 3 grandchildren and all her family and friends. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking and planting flowers - she loved to share her passion for it with her family. 

            Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Rosa's life by gathering for Visiting Hours in the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St., WATERTOWN, on Thursday August 5th, 2021 from 4-7 pm, and again on Friday August 6, 2021 at 9 am, followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Parish. Entombment in Calvary Mausoleum. 

          In lieu of flowers please make donations in Rosa's name to: Anthonian Association of the friends of St. Anthony of Padua, 101 St. Anthony Dr., Mount St. Francis IN, 47146.
