Alfonso Caci, age 77, of Waltham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025. He was the devoted husband of 52 years to Alfonsa (Terrasi) Caci. A loving father to Maria Reardon and her husband Marc, Alfonso was a proud and cherished Nonno to Francesca, Olivia, and Anthony Reardon.
Born in Aragona, Sicily, Alfonso was the son of the late Salvatore and Maria (Buscemi) Caci. He was the second of four siblings and was predeceased by his sister Stefania Graceffa. He is survived by his sister Angela Graceffa and brother Vincenzo Caci, along with his brothers-in-law Raimondo, Carmelo, and Vincenzo Terrasi, and sisters-in-law Margherita and Angela Terrasi. He is also lovingly remembered by his cousins, nieces and nephews, who held a special place in his heart.
In 1967, Alfonso and his family immigrated to Montreal, Canada, and in 1972, he settled in Waltham, Massachusetts, where he and Alfonsa began their life together. A hardworking and respected construction worker for over 50 years, Alfonso was known for his unwavering dedication, craftsmanship, and pride in every job he undertook.
Outside of work, Alfonso found joy in many simple pleasures: clamming, gardening, watching old western movies, maintaining his homes, and most of all, spending cherished time with his family and close friends. His presence brought warmth and strength to those around him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Alfonso’s life during visiting hours at the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St., Watertown, on Thursday from 4–7 PM, and again on Friday at 9 AM, followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 311 River St., Waltham. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum.
Alfonso’s enduring love, commitment, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and
loved him.
