Kom Chomthakham Obituary

Kom Chomthakham, age 85 of Watertown passed away on Thursday May 3, 2018. Kom was the beloved husband to Chanthachone Chomthakham. Loving father of Somvang Maokhamphiou, Sompheng Maokhamphiou, Somphit Maokhamphiou, Somboun Chomthakham, Somchai Chomthakham, Sompathana Chomthakham, Chitpanya Chomthakham, and Soumetta Chomthakham. Cherished grandfather to Mory Maokhamphiou, Maryann Maokhamphiou, Eddie Maokhamphiou, Casey Vannabonathong, Justin Pham, Sarah Chomthakham, Joseph Chomthakham, Maxwell Pham, Nancy Maokhamphiou, Krissy Vannabouathong, Allie Chomthakham, Sandra Pham and Ella Chomthakham.

Kom was appointed President in 2002 of the Wat Lao Mixayaram Temple in Lowell.

Family and friends will celebrate Kom's life by gathering for visiting hours in The Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St., WATERTOWN on Friday May 11, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM, and again on Saturday May 12, 2018 for a service at 9 AM, Cremation will follow at Newton Cemetery Crematory.
