Henry DiCicco Obituary

             Retired Watertown Police Officer Henry DiCicco, age of 70,  of Watertown, passed away on Monday June 11, 2018. Beloved husband to Marie (Tartaro) DiCicco. Loving father of Theresa Carbeau & her husband Joseph and Nicole DiCicco. Cherished Grandpa to Joseph Henry Carbeau. Dear brother of Linda Henry & her husband Wayne and the late Lorraine DiCicco & Angelo DiCicco. Son of the late Nicandro DiCicco & Marie (Bonito) DiCicco. 

              Prior to being appointed a police officer in 1980, Officer DiCicco served in the U.S. Army, assigned to the 300th Military Police Company, deploying to Vietnam in 1969, 1970, and 1971. Officer DiCicco served the Watertown Police Department proudly for 32 years, and was a fixture at the front window, assisting and greeting all that entered the station. Officer DiCicco was a graduate of Watertown High School, Northeastern University (B.S.) and Anna Maria College (M.S.). Henry was a lifelong resident of Watertown and a passionate Red Sox fan, more than anything else enjoyed spending time with his family in Wells, ME. 

            Family and friends will celebrate Henry's life by gathering for visiting hours in The Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. Watertown on Monday June 18, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM and again on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at 8 AM followed by a 9 AM  Funeral Mass in Saint Patrick's Church in Watertown. Burial to follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Beaverbrook STEP, 85 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472
