Anna Randolfi Lopez, born July 26, 1949, of Lancaster, MA formerly of Stow MA, passed away on Thursday, April 4th 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 69 years old.
Anna leaves her three daughters Andrea Pagington, and husband Kevin of Townsend, MA, April Lopez of Leominster, MA, Ashley Laughlin and husband Brendan of Lancaster, MA, their father Robert Lopez of Belmont, MA, her 4 grandchildren Madeline and Seamus Laughlin and Brook and Marco Pagington, her late brothers George and Ernesto Randolfi his wife Jackie of Billings, MT and children Jenna of San Francisco, CA and Dominic of Billings, MT.
Anna was born in Atina, Italy, daughter of Giuseppina Randolfi of Waltham, MA and the late Marco Randolfi. She was raised in Waltham, MA and moved to Stow, MA to raise her family. In 2011 she moved to Lancaster, MA where she lived out the remainder of her life surrounded by her family.
Anna’s strength with numbers lead her to a job as an accountant in Waltham MA and later as the secretary of St. Isidore Church in Stow, MA. People who knew Anna said she was a kind, loving, patient, and giving person. She was a role model and inspiration to all who knew her. She was always there to help out where she could and left an imprint in everyone’s life that she touched. She was a person of few words but listened to everything people said. Saying Anna was strong is an understatement. She fought and survived leukemia, skin cancer, a bone marrow transplant, Uterine Cancer, and fought to the end with her Endometrial Cancer.
Anna’s most cherished time was spending it with her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed her yearly family’s trips to Cape May, NJ where everyone cherished their time together building memories. Anna looked forward to the holidays and spoiling everyone. She is a kind soul who will be missed beyond belief.
The Wake for Anna will be at Nardone Funeral Home at 373 Main St, Watertown from 4-7pm on Tuesday April 9th. A Mass will be held for her on Wednesday April 10th at 10am at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Parish at 920 Trapelo Rd, Waltham. She will be buried at Calvary Cemetery at 250 High Street in Waltham.
