Lawrence David Dyer, of Burlington, passed away surrounded by his family on March 1 , 2024. Larry was the beloved husband to Patricia [Carolina] for 55 years.Devoted father to Kimberly Dyer and her husband Michael Jasse, of Chelmsford and Eric Dyer and Tami Olson of Merrimack, New Hampshire. Adored Papa to Timothy and Cecelia Barlow and Amy and Jack Dyer. He also leaves behind his dear sister, Linda Pearson and her husband Everett as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie [Sampson], his brother Roy, and sisters Diane, and Carol.
Larry was a 1965 graduate of Watertown High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country proudly for four years. Upon his discharge, he began working in the steel industry as a sales representative and continued in that field until his retirement. Larry’s greatest joy was his family. He was a constant support to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed the holidays, family gatherings, attending his grandchildren’s school and sporting events, telling stories and making people laugh. His presence will be sorely missed.
Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Larry’s life by gathering in the Nardone Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 4-7 pm and again on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 11am for a funeral service at Nardone Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
