Rita (Cuddy) Haynes

Rita B. (Cuddy) Haynes of Jamaica Plain former resident for 50 years of West Roxbury passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016. She was 90 years old. Beloved wife to the late Boston District Fire Chief Durwood E. Haynes. Devoted mother of Patricia Moriello and her husband Kenneth of West Roxbury, Diane Gamel & Robert Gamel of Randolph, Jean Nardone & her husband William of Lexington and Joseph Haynes and his wife Marie of Deerfield. Loving Nana to Eric, Kristyn, Keri, Carmine, Elizabeth, Emily, Grace & Joseph Jr., 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear sister to Pauline McLaughlin, Patricia Maguire and her husband Frank and the late Charles, Francis, Joseph, John, Catherine, Mary, Theresa, Olive, Elizabeth, Grace, Mildred, Helen and her surviving husband Jack Kelly & Cecilia and her surviving husband Charles McGee. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Nardone Funeral Home 373 Main St. WATERTOWN on Monday, September 26th at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, 2078 Centre St. W. Roxbury. Burial will follow in The Garden of Gethsemane. Visiting hours Sunday, September 25th from 2 - 5 PM.
