Oh I am sad that I missed hearing about this so I missed the wake etc. I last saw Joe at Rudy's wake in 2009. Joe was my father's cousin, Oreste J Nardone, son of Orazio Nardone, who was son of Luigi Nardone. I talked to Joe a few times on the phone and he was always very very nice. My father left a lot of photos and family news, and one was a news article of Joe getting therapy for his shoulder/arm. I met Joe at some of the Nardone family reunions. I think my dad saved every reunion invite, photos, and obituaries imagineable...some older photos were lost however.
I am working on a family tree if any of you want to see family pictures that I have, or want to send or trade some, email me. Lets keep our memories alive for they may be gone but never forgotten.

Joe & I worked for the same pharmaceutical firm and met at a national meeting in NYC, 1959. We visited each others homes on various occasions over many years. He was fun and a true friend. I will really miss him.

Joe was a true gentleman and friend who I met in the 1970s through the United Way. He was always positive and optimistic. What great qualities he had. Keep Smiling, Joe
