Diane Renzella

            Diane M. Renzella, a long-time resident of Watertown and Newton, passed away on Sunday morning, August 7, 2016, at her home in Newton. She was 67 years old.  Diane was born into a loving Italian family in Watertown, MA on July 28, 1949. She was the first child and beloved daughter of the late Peter and Carmela Renzella.  She grew up and was educated in Watertown, graduating from Watertown High School in 1967. Diane loved spending time with her large family. She enjoyed listening to classic rock music and talk radio, playing sports, and watching the Red Sox and Patriots. She was very artistic and loved to create beautiful sketch drawings. In her younger years one of her greatest passions was driving around town in her ’65 burgundy red Mustang convertible. 

       Diane was the long-time companion of the late Nicholas J. Topalis of Newton. She was the loving sister of Donna Ripley and her husband Robert of Waltham, Deborah Beck and her husband Arthur of Billerica, Darlene Entwisle of San Diego, Daniel Renzella and his wife Debbie of Watertown and David Renzella of San Diego. She is also survived by her Uncle and Aunt Tony and Carol Salvucci of North Carolina, and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

         Funeral from the Nardone Funeral Home 373 Main St. Watertown on Thursday August 11th at 8 AM followed by an 9 AM funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday August 10th from 4-8 PM. Interment will follow in Newton Cemetery.
